Hours with a clear review trail.

The proposed hour log keeps approved, pending, and returned work distinct. A student can see what needs attention; a supervisor can see what is ready for review.

  • Log the right activity

Categories and targets belong to the program, not a fixed template.

  • Resolve corrections

Return an entry with a reason, then review the revised submission.

  • Report what is verified

Keep approval information alongside the hours it supports.

Make feedback easier to find.

The planned recording workspace brings playback, timestamped comments, and explicit sharing controls into one review. The conversation stays attached to the session, not scattered across messages.

Sensitive work deserves specific answers.

A real deployment needs clarity about access, recording retention, hosting, and institutional responsibilities. Those decisions belong in the implementation conversation, not behind a badge.

Privacy & security approach
  • Who can see what

The proposed access model distinguishes institutional roles, student relationships, and recording shares.

  • What happens to recordings

Retention and deletion need an explicit policy, including what remains in the supervision record.

A few practical questions.

Who is Kindred Practicum for?

The platform is for counseling and therapy education programs, their students, faculty, site supervisors, and placement coordinators. The walkthrough can be tailored to the roles involved in your program.

Can our program use its own terminology and requirements?

The specification includes configurable role labels, training plans, activity categories, hour targets, placement requirements, and evaluation forms. Configuration options and setup responsibilities will be confirmed for each pilot.

Does it include session recording and review?

The planned session workspace includes live-session scheduling, audio/video uploads, controlled recording access, and feedback linked to moments in a recording. Media availability and retention arrangements must be agreed before real-client use.

Is this an AI assessment tool?

No. This product is focused on practicum administration and human supervision. AI scoring, automated clinical feedback, and simulated-client training are not part of this release.

Does it replace an LMS or a clinical EHR?

No. The scope is placements, hours, supervision, evaluations, and related reporting. Course delivery, clinical billing, treatment planning, and a patient portal are outside this product.

Where will student and session data be stored?

Hosting locations, subprocessors, access controls, and retention arrangements need to be confirmed for the deployment being considered. We will review those requirements with your institution before any real student or client information is used.

Is pricing available?

Pricing has not been published. Request a walkthrough to discuss your cohort size, workflows, rollout timing, and the scope of a possible pilot.

Can we move information from our current system?

Bring an outline of the records and exports you need to retain. Migration scope, supported formats, validation, and costs need to be agreed; a one-click transfer from another platform is not promised.

Bring your practicum workflow. Let's walk through it together.

Show us how your program handles placements, hours, supervision, and reporting. We will use that workflow to shape a focused conversation.

No client records are needed for a walkthrough.
